I think that's probably the most ridiculous thing i've ever heard. If they're a regular at a resturant and get denied because someone "felt" threatened that's insanity. I feel that the next time an ignorant white, mexican, or any other ethnicity makes a fool of themselves in a public place should be asked to leave. If the customer was "so threatened" and uncomfortable then he should have taken it upon himself to remove himself from it.

"Now is the time to make justice a reality for all of God's children" --
"Now is the time to make justice a reality for all of God's children."
I chose the direct quote above from Dr. King's speech because it was the one part that spoke to me. We are all created equal, but for whatever reason we were divided. By race not by character or behavior.
Justice doesn't just apply in a court room, or a jail. It should apply in our everyday. Justice, equality, freedom, all words negros from that time period wish they could have in their vocabulary. Yet they were neglected of their rights.
They were frowned upon for very little or no reason at all. Because their skin was different. Because they came from a different land. None of that should matter. In God's eyes we're all his children. Made with the same requirements to carry us through this world. I feel like Dr. Martin Luther king had more gifts & requirements than whites acknowledged.

Thursday :
Objective: react to the "I Have A Dream" speech.
Dr. King was expressing his opinion on how him, and his fellow negro's are treated. They were never granted complete freedom, but only away from slavery. His powerful words spoke to all people who heard them and made them understand the freedoms that average white people take for granted. Negros at that time were not allowed to sit in the front of the bus, or drink from the same water fountains, or even go to a white school.
African-Americans earned less than whites. We were divided. Dr. Martin Luther King brought it to the nations attention that they were no longer going to accept being mistreated for only the reason that their skin was different. He wasn't only speaking for the negros, but as one who knows the difficulties. King was not asking for anything but respect and equallity.
